I am finally starting to see the end of this painting project I started 2 weeks ago. I am finally painting my daughter's room. She's been sleeping in the nursery that I painted for the boys that was blue and red. It's taken 3 coats of primer on every wall, baseboard and door. 2 coats of the pink and purple and that parts done. Now all I have is trim and doors. It looks so cute, she loves it. Everytime she goes in she says that she feels like a princess. It's taken a lot of work but with that reaction it's worth it.

Well, what a weekend. Went to Ivorywitch's party and had a blast. Made some new friends and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with my current pals of the PBM. Stayed out Way too late. Didn't get home until after 5am. I am too old for that. Wondering if I'll hear from new friends, wondering what to do if I do.

All will work out as it should.

I'm going to need someone to help me jazz up my LJ it's pretty boring.

Gotta get something done today. I'm still painting.

Wow I'm feeling quite accomplished today

Well, I think that we are finally ready to get some updates. Yesterday was my middle guys 5th birthday. He had such a wonderful day. He was so happy, that great smilin' all the time happy. He doesn't always do that. My bitch mother couldn't even take 2 mins out of her day to call and sing to him, which she's done for all the other kids and birthdays. To him being 5 is really cool. She pisses me off. I don't think that listening to Violent Femmes while I type is really helping.

Christmas was really awesome. The in-laws left on the 29th, a little early, what a shame. My mominlaw needs to realize it's been 11 years and he boy chose me. Get over it! She seriously looks for junk to complaign about. But I try to get along cause I love my hubby. They did get me some nice presents, but they could keep all of them if they would just act like they liked me and she treated me with some damn respect.

New years we did nothing. I hate that. I'd like to do something but who has $100 to get a babysitter that night. So we watched DC rockin new year and were in bed by 12:10. Got some good lovin' :) but sometimes a girl likes to get pretty and party a bit.

Here's my question.....will they still call it Dick Clark's Rocking NY eve' after he's gone? Cause Seacrest's Rocking Eve doesn't have the same ring.

This has turned into a bit of a depressing rant when things are not all that bad. Basically I'm ready for a new year and 2007 has some changes on the block for me. I'm ready to step up and do the work so we'll see how that goes.
